After enjoying the Euros for the past few weeks and as we start to look forward to the Olympics later this month, everyone is on a total sports high right now. So this week, we are highlighting some of the athletes that will be representing Ireland in the upcoming games


Thomas Barr


Barr has qualified for the Men's 400M hurdles race. He announced this via his Twitter account last week and is determined to make the "green vest proud".




Michaela Walsh


28 year old boxer, Michaela Walsh, will be representing Ireland in the Tokyo Olympics. She has performed incredibly well inn the past, taking silver in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. This year we go for gold!




Sanita Puspure


Reigning champion and professional rower, Puspure, is back to row like a pro! Many fans have predicted that she will be taking home a medal this year and- with two World Championship and four European Championship medals under her belt- we have all the faith in the world in her.



These are just 3 of the incredible athletes we have representing Ireland for the Olympics. Let's give our athletes some Irish luck and let the countdown begin!
